Jessica Sendek
Attorney and Founder
Jessica is the founding member of Hensley Sendek Law, a family law firm in Wheaton, Illinois. Jessica practices in DuPage, Cook, Will and Kane counties. Jessica has extensive experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, allocation of parenting time and parental responsibilities, removal of children across state lines or internationally, child support, maintenance, property identification and distribution, high asset marital estates, qualified domestic relations orders, post-decree matters, parentage cases and appellate matters. Jessica has exclusively practiced family law for the entirety of her career.
Jessica listens to all of your needs and understands that no two situations are the same. She recognizes that every client has different needs and will provide you with an explanation of your legal rights as it relates to your situation so that you can make an informed decision. Jessica zealously represents her client’s interests, whether it be through settlement negotiations or contested litigation.
Jessica received her legal training at the University of Notre Dame Law School and graduated cum laude. During law school, Jessica served as a Guardian ad Litem for minor children and was awarded the Dean Konop award for her excellence in her work for the minor children. Jessica is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and DuPage County Bar Association and volunteers as an alumni recruiter for her alma mater, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Jessica is trained as a Guardian ad Litem, an attorney that is appointed by the Court to make recommendations about the best interest of the minor children in DuPage County. Jessica is also a member of the United States Department of State Hague Convention Attorney Network to represent clients in incoming Hague Convention return and access cases in the United States.
